Connecticut Biodiesel/Bioheat Association

The Connecticut Biodiesel/Bioheat Association (CBBA) is a membership trade organization that promotes the commercial development, production, marketing, distribution, and utilization of biodiesel and Bioheat.

It is the visition of CBBA that Connecticut biodiesel producers, marketers and distributors will provide, through a network of readily accessible retail outlets, biodiesel fuel that consistently meets recognized quality standards so that all Connecticut citizens benefit from the economic returns, improved air quality, and energy independence achieved through use of renewable biodiesel fuels.

The Mission and Vision of the CBBA are realized in the following strategic goals:

1. The CBBA serves as a progressive trade organization that represents, promotes and supports the business interests of Connecticut's growing commercial biodiesel industry.

2. The CBBA encourages grassroots participation in its membership by joining in common support for renewable, sustainable biofuels as an effective means of promoting our nation's energy independence and domestic economy, and with common appreciation of these alternative fuels for their benefit in improving air quality and reducing impact on climate change.

3. The CBBA supports and will abide by the creation of industry standards and regulations that offer maximum assurance to the public of the safe production, the quality, and the responsible utility of all biodiesel and Bioheat fuels made available for commercial distribution and sale.
